I earned a BA in Sociology from Columbia College, a MA in Sociology from the University of Missouri and have completed all the required coursework for a Ph.D. in Sociology. I have eight years experience teaching at the University of Missouri, six years at Columbia Christian Academy and twelve years as a children's church teacher.
I enjoy teaching children to rely on God to transform their abilities while incorporating the Word of God, praise and prayer into our everyday routine. We want JESUS to be the center of everything we do here at Columbia Christian Academy!

I hold a degree in Computer Networking from State Fair Community College. I did not think I would end up working in Early Childhood Education; however, after two years as a teacher's aide, I was never more sure that this is the path God called me to take. My experience working with young people now spans 15 years: eleven as a school teacher and six as a children's Pastor.
I have taught for 10 years in the Pre-K & Kindergarten classroom. There are few things more precious than being able to help a child ignite a spark that will teach them to love learning for the rest of their school days.

I am currently working towards a degree in teaching. Prior to that, I spent years working as the Director of Operations for a residential, faith-based men’s ministry in southern Missouri. During this time, I also served as youth minister at my church. Currently, my wife and I are the Youth Ministry Directors at FWCCOMO.
My path to becoming a teacher was all God. I began as a teaching assistant before teaching 1st and 2nd grade full time last year. I love that at Columbia Christian Academy, teaching means educating the mind and ministering the love of God to the hearts of our students.

I earned a Bachelor's of Science in Human Development and Family Science with an emphasis in Family and Lifespan Development from the University of Missouri. I went on to earn my Master's in Human Services-Counseling from Liberty University. This is my fifth year teaching at Columbia Christian Academy.
I love investing in future generations by helping children develop their gifts and talents, and bringing strength where there are weaknesses. It is my desire to help my students to develop confidence in the abilities that God has given them and to find their purpose in God.
